Exploring the landscape of Australia's written words.

A blog dedicated to the wonders, big and small, of Australian writing.

Raelke is an Australian children’s and YA writer and avid reader, yet believes she hasn’t read enough books by Australian writers.

What constitutes an Australian book? Is it enough to have been written by an Australian author, or should there be aspects of Australia in the book, too?

Raelke is reading her way through books by Australian writers, exploring the landscape of Australian writing.

Hi Raelke, I found your blog! My name’s Shannon and I’ve seen you around in the writing world a bit. We both did uni australia, lip, buzzcuts and youthweek comp stuff. Anyways just thought I would say howdy. I have a wordpress account too, freedomtights..
